Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of core.shop and related services (the "Service"), operated by CORE SHOP Inc. ("CORE," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. What the Service is — and what it is not

CORE is an AI-powered fashion discovery platform. We use the information you provide during onboarding and your activity on the Service (including swipes, searches, and clicks) to generate personalized product recommendations and to power natural-language search.

CORE does not sell products. We are not a retailer, merchant, or marketplace seller. We do not process payments, hold inventory, ship, or fulfill orders. When you choose to purchase an item, you do so on a third-party retailer's website, under that retailer's own terms and policies. CORE is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any transaction between you and a third-party retailer.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and to notify us of any unauthorized use. You may not impersonate others or choose a username that infringes another party's rights or is misleading.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. At a minimum, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or bypass its security or access controls;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, models, or algorithms;
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or dataset.

The Acceptable Use Policy also covers content rules (including a prohibition on uploading photos of minors to Mirror), reporting, and enforcement.

5. Third-party content, links, and information

Product information shown on the Service — including titles, brand names, images, prices, and availability — originates from or refers to third parties and is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any such information is accurate, complete, or current; prices and availability change and may be wrong. All product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

The Service contains links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those sites, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

6. Affiliate relationships

CORE participates in affiliate programs — including through Shopify and other affiliate networks — and may earn a commission when you click certain links or make purchases on third-party sites. This does not affect the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

7. Recommendations and AI outputs

Recommendations, search results, virtual try-on images, outfit videos, and other outputs are generated algorithmically and are provided for your convenience only. They are not advice, and we make no guarantee that any recommended product will be suitable, available, accurately priced, or as described by the retailer. You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions.

Virtual try-on (Mirror) outputs in particular are AI-generated visualizations, not accurate depictions. They do not reliably represent how a garment will actually fit, drape, or appear on you — including its size, proportions, color, texture, or details — and they must not be relied on for sizing or purchasing decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for differences between a try-on image or video and the real garment, or for decisions made in reliance on AI outputs.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the recommendation technology, is owned by CORE and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Your content and data

When you provide preferences, swipes, searches, and similar inputs, you grant CORE a worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to operate, personalize, and improve the Service.

When you upload or create content on the Service — such as photos, outfits, collections, and profile information — you retain ownership of it. You grant CORE a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the Service, including displaying content you choose to make public (for example, your public profile, public collections, and shared outfit pages) to other users and visitors. We may remove content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT PRODUCT INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR FROM ANY THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer rights for EU users).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CORE harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing contact@core.shop.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware. The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Opt-out. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing contact@core.shop within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out."

Carve-outs. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court instead of arbitration. Claims for injunctive relief to protect intellectual-property rights may be brought in court.

Class-action waiver. You and CORE agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis; class actions and collective proceedings are waived to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights of EU/EEA users (including the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence) are unaffected by this section.
