CORE SHOP Inc. ("Core", "we") runs core.shop, a fashion discovery service. This page says plainly how we make money.
How we earn
Core takes part in affiliate and performance-marketing programs run by third parties. Our main partner is Channel3, whose catalogue supplies the products on the Service and most of the links to retailers. Other links go to retailers directly or through affiliate networks we belong to or have applied to, such as Awin and Partnerize. When you click one of those links and visit a retailer, and in some cases when you buy there, we may earn a commission or a referral fee.
What that means for you
- It never changes the price you pay. The retailer or the network pays the commission, not you.
- It never changes what we recommend. Your recommendations come from your own preferences and activity, not from which retailer pays us.
- The retailer sets the price, the availability and the terms of any purchase. Core is not the seller and is not a party to your purchase.
Why we say this
Because you should know, and because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and affiliate links, and similar rules elsewhere, require it.
