Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the behavior we require from everyone who uses core.shop and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this AUP. It supplements our Terms of Service; defined terms have the meaning given there.
Violating this AUP can result in content being removed, your account being suspended or terminated, and — where appropriate — referral to law enforcement.
1. Account rules
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- One person per account; one account per person. Don't share credentials or operate accounts for others without permission.
- Don't create accounts to evade a prior suspension or ban.
- Don't impersonate any person, brand, or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
2. Content rules
Anything you create on CORE — saved looks, collections, public profiles, outfit shares, photos you upload to Mirror, names and descriptions you write — must follow these rules. Don't post, upload, share, or otherwise make available content that:
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights (see also our Copyright & DMCA Policy);
- Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, bullying, or targeted at a specific person or group based on protected characteristics;
- Is sexually explicit, sexually suggestive in a non-consensual or exploitative way, or depicts nudity in a context the Service is not designed for;
- Depicts a minor in any context — in particular, do not upload photos of anyone under 18 to Mirror (virtual try-on);
- Promotes self-harm, eating disorders, violence, or illegal acts;
- Contains malware, scripts, or links intended to harm users, our systems, or our partners' systems;
- Is spam, unsolicited advertising, or a manipulation of likes, saves, or other engagement signals.
3. Mirror & AI-generated content
The Mirror feature uses third-party AI providers to render virtual try-on images and short outfit videos from photos you upload. By uploading a photo you confirm that:
- You are the person in the photo, or you have the subject's explicit permission to upload it;
- The subject is 18 or older; uploading photos of minors to Mirror is strictly prohibited;
- You will not use the output to harass, defame, impersonate, or create misleading content about any person;
- You understand that AI output may be imperfect and is not an endorsement of any product or brand.
See our AI Policy for how data flows through AI providers and what they retain.
4. Service rules
Don't do anything that interferes with the Service or other users' experience of it. In particular, don't:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise mass-extract product data, images, taste profiles, user data, or any other content from the Service;
- Use bots, headless browsers, or other automated tools to interact with the Service, except for publicly documented integrations we provide;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, model weights, or training data behind any feature;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach its security or authentication measures, except under a coordinated disclosure program we publish;
- Send excessive requests that degrade Service performance for others;
- Use the Service to build a competing product, dataset, or recommendation model.
5. Affiliate & commercial activity
- Don't use the Service to promote products you have an undisclosed commercial relationship with.
- Don't use core.shop to solicit, sell to, or recruit our users for off-platform commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- CORE earns affiliate commission on some outbound retailer clicks — see our Affiliate Disclosure. Users do not earn commission on their own actions.
6. Reporting violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this AUP, email contact@core.shop with the URL or username and a short description. Copyright complaints should instead follow the process in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
7. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- Remove or restrict access to content;
- Limit features (for example, restrict outfit sharing or Mirror uploads);
- Suspend or terminate accounts, including for repeat violations;
- Preserve and disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CORE, our users, or others.
Where appropriate, we aim to give notice and an opportunity to appeal. Severe or repeat violations may skip that step.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated AUP.
