Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

CORE SHOP Inc. ("CORE," "we," "us") is an AI-powered fashion discovery platform.

This policy provides information about how and when we, our service providers, and our business partners use cookies, beacons, pixels, or similar technologies ("cookies"). For general information about cookies, see https://www.aboutcookies.org/cookie-faq. Terms used in this policy but not defined here have the meaning set forth in our Privacy Policy, which also includes additional details about the collection and use of information at Core.

How Core Uses Cookies

We use cookies to operate the Service and to collect information about you and your use of it. Cookies help us recognize you, customize or personalize your experience, and analyze how the Service is used so we can make it more useful to you. Cookies may also allow us to collect aggregate statistical data and provide this information to our service providers to help deliver their services.

We use cookies for the following purposes. You can also visit our cookies table to learn more.

PurposeDescription
NecessaryThese are cookies necessary to use the Service — for example, cookies that help us detect and prevent malicious activity or fraudulent usage, and when you sign in, cookies that help us show you the correct account information and preferences.
AnalyticsWe use cookies to understand the general usage of, and to improve, the Service (for example, to help us measure how many people interact with it). We may collect technical information such as pages visited and how your browser interacts with the Service, and — for the same purpose — record a reconstruction of your session (see "Analytics and Session Recording" below).
MarketingCookies that help us market the Service more effectively to users who may be interested in using it. Core does not currently set any marketing cookies; the category is surfaced in our consent UI so you can pre-set your preference.

Cookie Purpose and Description

Analytics and Session Recording (PostHog)

Our only analytics provider is PostHog, which we use under the Analytics category. Nothing described in this section runs until you opt in, and it stops if you withdraw consent through Privacy choices. Our PostHog data is stored on PostHog’s EU Cloud infrastructure.

Product analytics

We record page views and page exits, and a defined set of product actions: sign-ups, onboarding completion, likes, saves, saved outfits, virtual try-on submissions, Mirror pose and backdrop changes, generated outfit videos, outbound clicks to retailers, shares, and views of, interactions with, or completed upgrades from upgrade prompts. These events carry contextual details such as the product, brand, or outfit involved, the listed price, and where in the app the action started.

Technical and device information

Browser and version, operating system, device type, screen and viewport dimensions, user-agent string, language, timezone, the page URL and path, the referring page, and Google Core Web Vitals performance metrics.

Approximate location

Your IP address is used momentarily to derive an approximate location — continent, country, region, city, postal code, coordinates and timezone — and is then discarded rather than stored alongside your events.

Marketing attribution

If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we record the campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers present in the URL (for example utm_source and gclid) so we can understand which channels bring people to Core. We use these for measurement only; we do not set advertising cookies and do not share this data with ad networks for targeting.

Session recording and heatmaps

We record a reconstruction of your session — page content, navigation, cursor movement, clicks and scrolling — together with browser console messages and the timing of network requests, so we can diagnose faults and see where the experience breaks down. Text you type into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser. Other on-screen text and images are captured, so a recording may show information visible on the page, including your email address in your account area. We do not capture the contents of network requests or responses, and we do not record canvas elements. Recordings are deleted after 30 days.

Account linkage

Before you sign in, this data is tied only to a random device identifier. When you sign in we link it to your account and store your email address against your analytics profile.

Managing Your Cookie Settings

When you first visit core.shop, our cookie banner lets you Accept all, keep Essentials only, or open Customize cookie settings to choose per category. Analytics and marketing will not run until you opt in. You can change your choice at any time via the Privacy choices link in the footer.

Most browsers also allow you to remove or manage cookies and adjust your privacy and security preferences. For information on how to do this, access the "help" menu of your browser, or visit http://www.aboutcookies.org/how-to-control-cookies. Due to differences between websites and other technologies, you may need to take additional steps to opt out. Please note that disabling all cookies may mean you may not be able to take full advantage of the Service.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers provide a "Do Not Track" option. We currently do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Changes to Our Cookie Policy

Core may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes as appropriate and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page for updates when you access the Service.
