This policy explains how CORE SHOP Inc. ("Core", "we", "us") and the providers that run core.shop for us use cookies and similar technologies, which this page calls cookies for short. Words defined in our Privacy Policy mean the same here, and that policy says more about what we collect and why. For a general introduction to cookies, see aboutcookies.org.
What we use cookies for
Cookies let the Service recognise you, remember your choices and show you the right account, and, with your consent, let us see how the Service is used so we can improve it. The cookies table lists every cookie we set, by name.

Cookie categories
Analytics and session recording
Our only analytics provider is PostHog, and everything in this section belongs to the Analytics category. None of it runs until you agree, and it stops when you withdraw your consent through Privacy choices in the footer. The data is held on PostHog's servers in the European Union.
What is recorded
Page views and exits, and a fixed set of actions. Landing-page views, sign-ups, the start and end of onboarding, searches, likes, saves, saved looks, try-on requests in the Studio, clicks that go to a retailer, shares, return visits in your second week, and views of and responses to upgrade prompts. Each action carries its context, such as the product, brand or outfit involved, the price shown, and where in the Service it started. For a search we also record the first 200 characters of what you typed and whether a photo was attached, never the photo itself. Your analytics profile notes when you signed up and when you finished onboarding.
Your device
Browser and version, operating system, type of device, screen and window size, language, time zone, the address of the page and the page you came from, and standard page-speed measurements.
Your approximate location
Your IP address is used for a moment to work out an approximate location, down to the city, and is then discarded rather than stored with your events.
Where you came from
If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we record the campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers in the address, such as utm_source and gclid, to learn which channels bring people to Core. This is measurement only. We set no advertising cookies and share none of it with ad networks for targeting.
Session recording
With your consent we keep a reconstruction of your session, with the page content, your navigation, cursor, clicks and scrolling, the browser's console messages and the timing of network requests, so we can find faults and see where the experience breaks down. Anything you type into a form is masked before it leaves your browser. Other text and pictures on the page are captured, so a recording can show what was visible, including your email address in your account settings. We do not capture the contents of network requests, and we do not record canvas elements. Recordings are deleted after 30 days. A member under 18 is never recorded, whatever their cookie settings.
Linking to your account
Before you sign in, this data is tied only to a random identifier for your device. When you sign in we link it to your account, and your email address is stored on your analytics profile.
Your choices
On your first visit the cookie banner lets you Accept all, keep Essentials only, or open Customize cookie settings and choose by category. Analytics and marketing cookies run only after you agree. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy choices in the footer.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies. Its help pages, or aboutcookies.org, explain how. Blocking all cookies can stop parts of the Service from working, including sign-in.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not respond to it at present. Your cookie settings on the Service are what we follow.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top, and we will tell you about important changes where the law requires it.
